The singer Carol Saboya , is well known internationally, and this is his fifth album released in USA. He is dedicated to the music of two great intererpreti dela Brazilian popular music, Ivan Lins and Milton Nascimiento , which incorporates the compositions, interpetandole with a group in which there are stars of jazz as Dave Liebman , the tenor sax Tarde (Evening) and soprano ( Tristesse ) el'armonicista Hendrik Meurkens Doce Presença (Sweetest Presence ). Obviously the group is the father Antonio Adolfo piano and excellent sidemen that make a lot of skill with the fascinating atmospheres, sometimes tending towards a mainstream jazz album that gives the sophistication you would expect from musicians of the genre. The songs are sung in Portuguese and English with her voice very persuasive. She is very good on complex harmonies and dynamics that are constantly changing, technically perfect in presenting the songs, rendered with very elegant atmospheres. Some are just remarkable, the beautiful ballad Tarde (Evening) , or Bola De Meia, Bola De Gude (Sock Ball and Marbles) Milton Nascimiento. The group that l'accompagna deserves special commendation for l'empatia with which interprets the genre: Antonio Adolfo on piano, Jorge Helder low, Rafael Barata battery and Claudio Spiewak guitar.
